well i can’t think of anyone i only knew for one day (if you think about that, it makes no sense—after you meet someone you know them, you don’t just stop knowing someone even if you don’t see them again… but you get the point) so i’m choosing someone i knew/saw for three days. that’s pretty short, right?

yeah we went out of tune a couple times, but overall i think we were successful. i think people liked our songs. i enjoyed watching everyone else from the little alcove by the tech room.
i saw shruthi s, bhavisha, and kira as well… which was really nice. i knew at least some people in the audience, and that made a really big difference.

tomorrow is the first debut concert of the year. and let me tell you, i am excited. choir means a lot to me.
i tried to think of something to write here that would make you all want to come and see the performances, the culmination of our months of hard work. but i know there’s nothing i can say that will make you love choir the way i do, and make you want to come.

i am really good at riddles. like seriously.
one day, shruthi asked me a whole bunch of riddles from her sat book. i got every single one of them right. they were to teach you to look beyond the obvious, i think, so maybe i’m good at that. they were in the critical reading section, and i’m really good at critical reading so i guess that makes sense.

my facebook speaks british english
it says things like “forgotten your password?” instead of “forgot you password?” and “show forthcoming events” instead of “show upcoming events”. it’s in military time, too, so i can tell easier if something was written at night or in the morning.
mostly it’s just fun to read it with a british accent…
i want to watch the other choirs sing.
please don’t make me miss it. i know we need to practice but this is the only time i’m going to get to watch them for sure, and i really really want to. yes we have rehearsal on tuesday and wednesday before the concert, but i highly suspect that we’ll be practicing through their performances then. i don’t ask to see all of the performances, just one.

i spent this whole day doing stuff. like i know that sounds stupid but i usually spend a good amount of the weekend just hanging around, watching tv or something.
